ARTEMIS
Artemis is a space mission in which humanity revisits the moon, and the members of this mission will include the first woman on the moon and the next man on the moon (Dunbar). This will be a mission that many are looking forward to in the future.The purpose of this mission, according to Dunbar in the article “What is Artemis”, is to "Demonstrate new technologies, capabilities, and business approaches needed for future exploration including Mars." and to "Broaden our commercial and international partnerships; inspire a new generation and encourage careers in STEM." The benefit of this mission is that Artemis mission can provide more information about landing a human on another planet. This can help us come closer to Mars, and even other planets.
CHALLENGE OF THE MISSION
NASA still needs to take several uncrewed test flights before the final launch takes off (Dunbar). During the mission, the challenge is to look for critical resources that can be used on earth, learn more about the earth, and learn how to live on another planet (Dunbar).
