PSYCHE

Psyche NASA, as NASA claims, "is a journey to a unique metal asteroid orbiting the Sun between Mars and Jupiter." The general question may be why is this asteroid so special that deserves to be closely monitored? NASA answered, "it (the asteroid) appears to be the exposed nickel-iron core of an early planet, one of the building blocks of our solar system." The purpose of this mission is to understand more about Iron Core, the base material of the formation of planets. Also, this mission will help examine the core of the earth to see what the structure is by studying this metal asteroid (NASA).

CHALLENGE OF THE MISSION

The Psyche mission will take 3.5 years to reach the asteroid, which means during the journey, there may be an unexpected collision with space debris (NASA). No articles are suggesting that Psyche missions have any difficulty during the development stage. It will also be a challenge for NASA to closely study the Metal asteroid because we do not have enough understanding (NASA).
